I have this long history with hospital. I remember I was 5 when Abah had to take me to Pusrawi at 3 or 4 am due to severe asthma attack. Thank God all I need was the gas (i dunno the scientific name of that). Inhaler tak jalan at that time. I think there was few times when such thing happened, if I'm not mistaken la.
And then as I grew up, I would usually have a monthly visit to klinik akashah depan rumah. It cud either be asthma or cold.
Next when I got to boarding school, I was a regular patient at hospital seremban. Though some ppl view it as 'great-now-u-can-go-outing-day', I didn't find going to hospital every month as that exciting. There was this time when the school bus passed this 'lori bawak pasir' and apparently I think one of the big sand clashed the bus windscreen, the glass collapsed and a small tiny part of it got into my eye. As usual, it took me few seconds to realize what happened. (It's not like everyday u have plastic glass got into your eye kan?) So I just blinked for couple of times and it went out. Nothing serious. (I was cool kan masa sekolah? Kaelejyo? And still am. haha) Being sick at boarding school was never cool coz u have to go see the matron, fill up all these forms and stay at bilik sakit which sometimes ppl claimed to be haunted. Heh.
Then came OZ. I didn't fall sick that often except that I've been infected by many external organism. Be it virus or bacteria(helicobacter phylori was one of them). I've been visiting Parkland since first year(and to be honest, I sometimes got confused whether ppl were talking about Paklan the Fadhlan or the Parkland). Gone thru blood tests for several times, visited ED on weekends. Tiring but I'm not sick of it. Oh yeah, there was this one time that I think I got admitted due to stress(but I only realized that I was stress about a year later. heh) I was diagnosed with acid reflux. And that's where Farah got that Aini-the-Acid-Reflux nickname.
And tomorrow, I'll be going to PPUM, to be exact to see the specialist at ENT. Something wrong with my head.
The doctor who referred me said 'We just wanna make sure that it's not malignant'
Haha, thanks doc. I really need that. *sarcasm*
Maybe due to the frequent visit to hospital, I'm not that anxious. In fact I think these funny things on my head are just some mere inflammations. And I seriously hope this is not the post effect of that accident.
But to be honest, I actually love to see the doctors. Blame it on my science background. And yes, I love the smell of disinfectant and I looooooveee the 40% alcohol solution (in fact I strongly believe everyone should carry one!) But no, I dun find doctor will be a good candidate for the life partner thingy. (Along is a doctor and it is actually heartbreaking to lock the door after waiting for someone and the someone suddenly said, 'eh, Along mana balik harini. On call la.' Heh)
Orait peeps, I gotta resume reading this philosophical paper *pull hair*. Till then, pray for me. :)
Sakit tu kan kifarah dosa? ;)
update: Doctor at ENT said it's just an infection. Nothing to be worried about. ^_^
