Qurban - Taqarrub

Ibrahim is taken by Allah as His Khalil. The birth of his son tested the Khullah, until Ibrahim is proven to uphold the Khullah between him and Ismail, the sacrifice took place. 

 

Love is to strengthen sacrifice, but people commonly sacrifice to strengthen love
